The holiday season is the best time of the year because this is the time when most people exchange gifts with each other. Gifts are very sentimental to each person because just the act of giving already reminds the receiver that you are thinking about him or her.
There are a lot of reasons why we give and receive gifts; you might give gifts to the person you are interested simply because you like that person. You might want to give gifts because there is a special occasion intended for the person such as birthdays, graduation or others.
Gifts are also one way to motivate someone, just like what my mother used to do when I was a child; she always told me that she will give me something whenever I got high grades. Giving and receiving gifts is also very common during the holidays especially in Christmas just to feel the real spirit of the season.
